Steve Way warmed up for his forthcoming Commonwealth Games appearance by winning the New Forest 10 mile race today.
The 40-year-old was almost three minutes ahead of fellow Bournemouth AC member Jacek Cieluszecki. Way won in a new course record of 50 minutes and 43 seconds, with Cieluszecki finishing in 53:41.
Earlier this year Way was the third British competitor to finish the London Marathon behind Mo Farah and Chris Thompson.
Following that, he was selected to run the marathon for England at the Commonwealth Games later this month.
