USA-bound Alex Marsh has been crowned Men’s Champion at Bramshaw Golf Club.
The 18-year-old shot 73 on the Forest Course and followed this with a superb gross 70 on the Manor Course for a 36 hole total of 143.
Marsh will be travelling to America in August of this year to take up a golf scholarship.
Amelia Williams, 14, won the prestigious Boyle Cup at Bramshaw with a net 66.
She beat 110 other men, ladies and juniors – only the second time in 36 years that a female has won this tournament.
Bramshaw’s Finlay Conrad, 10, scooped the International Prep School (Under 11) tournament at Royal Lytham GC.
Further junior success came when Adrian Mylrea, 13, won the Hampshire County Girls Handicap Championship at Basingstoke GC.
She shot 69 & 72 for a total of 141 for the 36 hole competition, taking the title on countback from Charlotte Barrow (Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club).
In addition, Joe Buenfeld, 11, won the Wee Wonders tournament at Hoebridge, Surrey, scoring his first ‘hole-in-one’ in the process and qualifying to play in the National Final at St Andrews in August 2014.
