SOUTHAMPTON Solent University’s women footballers are in superb form.
The 20-0 demolition job they carried out this week on Winchester University took their goals tally to 78 in just seven games. As a result, they are in with a chance of winning British Universities and Hampshire County League titles.
Manager Chris Wheeler said: “We’ve always been the bridesmaid but I think this season is our time to be the bride.”
