Hampshire Cricket have launched a unique rebrand of their Community programme.

‘Hampshire Cricket in The Community’ becomes the clubs new official charity name, encompassing Hampshire Cricket Board, Hampshire Cricket Community Trust and Elite Coaching Academy Indoor School.

In a move designed to create connected access to sport and education programmes the launch also features a new logo alongside the internal restructure.

Speaking on the move, Hampshire Cricket in the Community Manager, Simon Fox said: “This is a unique move in the world of cricket and as a charity we are taking a more holistic approach to community integration. The Cricket Board, with strong support from the ECB, have delivered outstanding projects that have increased participation, competition and sustainability of cricket.

“Likewise there has been a rise in girls and women’s cricket alongside success of the award-winning Bluebird Care Disability programme. Coupled with the rapid progress of the former Community Trust this has presented a strong platform to unite all delivery partners under one central brand. There is traditionally a difficult challenge within the sport in uniting the various facets of delivery but thanks to collective vision and the support of Hampshire Cricket, we have been able to do that.”

Hampshire Cricket in the Community now offers cricket coaching alongside unique curriculum-based education, enterprise, health, employment and training projects in addition to the donations programme.
