Olympic champion King named in GB Track World Cup series squad

The Hampshire-born star, who won team pursuit gold at London 2012, leads an 11-rider squad to Guadalajara, Mexico announced by British Cycling for the January 17-19 event, and will ride in individual events.
Two-time junior world champion Danni Khan makes her elite World Cup debut in a youthful women's sprint group alongside Victoria Williamson.
Also making their debuts are Khan's fellow academy riders Chris Latham, Jacob Ragan and Oliver Wood, while John Paul returns to the squad as a guest rider.
Totton's Jon Dibben is named in the men's endurance squad.
Andy Tennant, a 2012 world team pursuit champion, is the most experienced male in a youthful group.
The event offers an opportunity for the younger riders who have an eye on the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and gives the established squad members time to concentrate on training ahead of the 2014 Track Cycling World Championships, which take place in Cali, Colombia in February.
British Cycling performance manager Shane Sutton said: "We're in a good place in terms of qualification points for the World Championships, and this has created an opportunity for some of our younger riders to step up and compete at a World Cup.
"This will give the coaches a gauge of where the riders are at, and will also provide invaluable experience for the young squad members."
