Hampshire cricketers Sean Ervine and Liam Dawson have helped make it a happy Christmas for several disadvantaged children.

The all-rounders delivered presents to Naomi House Hospice in Winchester as part of the Hampshire Cricket Community Trust Toy Drive, which also saw them visit the children's ward at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.

Hampshire Cricket Community Trust Education Officer, Emily Blackburn said: “It’s important for everybody at this time of year to think of those who are less fortunate, so it’s a real pleasure for us to be able to organize this and hopefully make Christmas extra special for those children at both Queen Alexandra and Naomi House.

“It makes it all worthwhile when you see how much of a difference it makes to the children and you have to give a lot of credit to the Hampshire cricket fans and the local community for their generous donations, as without them this wouldn’t have been possible.”
