Several Hampshire cricketers will be taking part in selected cricket coaching courses being held over the winter, the first of which are this October half-term.
Seamer David Balcombe and all-rounder Liam Dawson will be among those passing on their knowledge and expertise to youngsters..
The first courses will be held at Eversley Indoor Cricket Centre during half-term (28th / 30th October) and will be priced at £75. Every single element of the game is covered from the basics to more advanced skills. Competitions and games are run throughout the course to make sure the players are competing with each other and learning to work as a team.
Later in the year there will be a range of Specialist (15 Nov – 20 Dec) and Development (5 Nov – 17 Dec) courses as well as “Master Classes” (21 / 22 Dec) for more advanced cricketers.
Hampshire Cricket Coaching Manager Richard Logan said; “These courses are a fantastic way for cricketers of all levels and abilities to focus on specific skills or work on their all-round game.
“We are delighted to have the services of the Hampshire cricketers for some of the courses and are absolutely certain their experience will mean they can offer an unrivalled insight into how to play the game.”
