Michelmersh and Timsbury Cricket Club recently held their annual presentation dinner at Wellow Golf Club following a season of stability.

The year began with the future of the club in doubt amid uncertainties over the availability of the cricket facilities at Mannyngham Way, but the issues have been satisfactorily resolved.

The 1st XI won eleven of their fifteen league matches to finish in a creditable third position and so halt their recent slide down the league pyramid.

The 2nd XI finished mid-table and the 3rd team won nearly half of their games.

A pleasing report from all team captains was the involvement of current colts players this season and in one particular 1st XI game ten of the side had progressed through the colts system.

Flowers were presented to Phyllis Hurle for preparing the 1st XI teas and to Jane Beddoes for organising the presentation evening.
