Matty Tew'a big night ended in heartache as he lost his International Masters title after being knocked out by Santiago Bustas.
The Southampton favourite was roared on by a big Guildhall crowd and was giving as good as he got in the early stages of the lightweight contest.
However, 29 seconds into the third round Tew was laid out by a swinging right hand and the fight was over.
On the undercard King Davidson put the disappointment of the collapse of his WBO International light middleweight title fight behind him by stopping Andrejs Loginovs in the fifth round of their contest.
Joe Pigford made it two stoppage wins from his first two fights while there was also a first pro win for another Southampton fighter in the shape of Steve Lynch who bagged a points decision after drawing on his debut.
Jake Gosling from Bournemouth secured a comfortable debut points victory but there was disappointment for Tommy Watson who was on the wrong end of a points decision.
