A friendly wolf was on the loose in the New Forest – entertaining a large crowd at Lyndhurst Workmen’s Club.

Three times BDO World champion Martin Adams – otherwise known as Wolfie – spent an evening taking on members of the Lyndhurst Workmen’s Club League.

But the England captain, who has also won the Winmau World Masters three times, did not have it all his own way.

He had to play to the league’s 301 double-in, double-out format and was beaten (with a little help from compere Richie Ashdown) by nine-year-old Josh Tasker.
