Morgan lands fifth place

Southampton snowboarder Billy Morgan landed a creditable fifth place at the Sprint US Slopestyle finals.

Morgan, who shot to fame when he became the first snowboarder to land a triple rodeo, put in a good display at Copper Mountain in Colorado, USA.

The 194 strong field was competing in the first North American Olympic Qualifier of the season and the first North American 5 Star event on the World Snowboard Tour calendar.
