Centenary cathedral service for St Bede school
A SERVICE of remembrance, celebration and thanksgiving for 100 years of education at St Bede Primary School (formerly Danemark) will be held at Winchester Cathedral on Friday September 14 at 2pm.
At the service there will be the first public performance of the newly arranged and orchestrated school song We are the Children of St Bede.
The song was written by a previous headteacher Brian Milloy as his leaving gift to the school. The children of the school will be accompanied by the Hampshire Youth Orchestra.
There will be a retiring collection in aid of Winchester Cathedral and Friends of the Family.
