Mobile cancer support unit rolls into town Mobile cancer support unit rolls into town

MACMILLAN'S Mobile Cancer Information & Support Service is coming to Winchester .

A team of information and support specialists will answer questions or concerns about cancer and no appointment is required.

John Galfin, Macmillan information and support specialist, says: “If you have any worries or questions about anything to do with cancer, whether it's about yourself, a relative or friend, come and talk to our specialists face-to-face. It's free and completely confidential.”

More than one in three people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives and organisers say many people in Winchester are either living with cancer themselves, or know a relative or friend who has been diagnosed who would benefit from the service. The service will be in Winchester on Wednesday, September 5 and will be open from 9.30am to 4pm outside the Guildhall.
