TWO Winchester pubs are facing a combined legal bill of nearly £13,000 after being caught with dirty kitchens.
The Crown and Anchor in High Street must pay £7,715 while the William Walker in The Square faces a £5,265 bill.
Both have said their kitchens have been completely overhauled since the inspections more than a year ago.
The cases were brought by the city council and heard at Andover Magistrates Court last Monday.
This week, the William Walker said its entire catering team had changed since the inspection.
New managers are running the Crown and Anchor.
