ALRESFORD pupils are celebrating after picking up a regional am-dram award.
Perins School’s youth theatre took home the Youth Ensemble prize at the annual Curtain Call Awards for their production of Oliver.
It was one of the school’s biggest ever productions, with around 120 students making up the leads, chorus and orchestra, when it was performed last July.
Several of the cast attended the glitzy awards ceremony at the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton last Sunday, to pick up their prize.
The awards are organised by the Chronicle’s sister paper, the Daily Echo.
