City centre flat burgled

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a flat in Winchester.

Burglars tried to force open a front door at a home in St Peter Street, but no entry was gained.

The incident happened sometime between January 7 and 21 and police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area.
