Winchester police have dropped enquiries against a man arrested for an indecent assault in a city suburb.
A 14 year old girl was attacked on Nuns Walk, Abbotts Barton, at about 8.45am on Saturday July 3.
Detectives later detained a 33-year-old local man and bailed him to return to North Walls station in early September.
However he has since been told that no further action will be taken.
Enquiries to find the offender are still ongoing, said DC Craig Rainsley, of Winchester CID.
The attacker is described as white, average build, around five feet eight inches tall, pale complexion with a black moustache and deep voice.
