WHISKY lovers descended on a Hampshire festival for a day of tastings and masterclasses.
There were more than 75 brands on offer at Winchester's Guildhall at the event run by The Whiskey Affair, suitable for beginners through to connoisseurs.
With the proceedings split into four sections - scotch, bourbon, whiskey and whiskey cocktails - there was something for everyone.
The festival, which also featured live acoustic music by local musician Daryl Kellie throughout, started in London in 2015 and began a nationwide tour in 2016.
It previously visited The Stage Door in Southampton in 2016.
It aims to let people explore the world of whiskey against a backdrop of good music, with a sense of inclusiveness for any level of knowledge.
The two masterclasses were on the history of moonshine, and then a talk on independent bottlers and Indian whisky later in the day.
Catherine Jackson, one of the organisers, said: "We had 450 tickets sold, making it our biggest event so far."
She added that due to the success of the event the organisers would be looking to add Southampton and Winchester onto their schedule for 2018.
