A MAN appeared in court following the death of a Winchester man.
David Richard Gray, 35, of no fixed abode, has been charged by Hampshire Constabulary’s Major Crime Team over the murder of Carl Scott.
The 37-year-old from Winchester, died some time between 12 February and 22 March, when his body was discovered by a member of the public, a court heard.
The 37-year-old’s body was discovered at a property in Birch Court, of Thurmond Road, Winchester on March 22 this year.
Gray, who wore a white shirt, spoke to confirm his name at Winchester Crown Court on Tuesday morning.
There will be a further hearing at Winchester Crown Court on the week of August 21.
It is expected that a trial will start in December.
