SCOTT Porter has been disqualified for drink driving near Winchester.
Porter, 21, was driving a 59-reg Audi A3 when he was stopped by police on the northbound M3 on May 20.
Magistrates heard that Porter, of Upper Terrace Road, Bournemouth, had an alcohol reading of 60 per 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.
Porter admitted the charge as well as driving with no insurance, otherwise than in accordance with a licence and assaulting a PC. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation to PC Claridge.
He was banned from the road for 17 months, fined £880, with a £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The ban will be reduced by 17 weeks if he passed an approved course by May 9 2018.
Porter was also fined £50 for breaching a conditional discharge imposed for threatening behaviour on January 15 in Bournemouth.
