POLICE in Winchester say they are working hard to tackle thefts and shoplifting in the city centre.
At a police and communities together meeting (PACT) held at the Discovery Centre, more than 20 residents heard how police are stamping out thieving.
PCSO Neil Parker said: “We work with the Winchester BID and most shops are on the Shop Watch scheme we have regular meeting and highlight offenders who come in to steal. We are working on one particular female who comes into M&S to do a bit of ‘shopping’.”
We are working on a community behavior order for her (CBO).”
