Emergency services called after car crashes off motorway
A CAR came off the motorway and crashed into a wooded area.
Firefighters were called to the M3 between junction 9 at Winnall and 8, towards Basingstoke, at 1.15am.
The vehicle, which had four people inside, went off the motorway but when rescue services arrived the passengers had already managed to get out of the vehicle.
Firefighters from Eastleigh and Winchester attended and left the scene at around 2am.
It is understood that no-one was seriously hurt.
Police and ambulance services were also called to the scene.
