FIRMS in Winchester can enjoy free parking on weekends thanks to an initiative by their local Business Improvement District.
The BID has arranged for free weekend parking at the Tower Street multi-storey car park.
Exclusively for BID members, up to 140 spaces are available on Saturdays and Sundays in the run up to Christmas.
Hampshire County Council is providing access to the basement, usually utilised by their employees during the week. The initiative will free spaces for customers and clients elsewhere in the city.
The car park will be available from 7pm to 6.30pm on the following weekends: November 26-27, December 3-4, December 10-11 and December 17-18.
The car park will be and manned at all times and thus the BID will be covering the administration costs incurred.
To reserve a space, email enquiries@winchesterbid.co.uk with the following details: company name, staff name, vehicle make, model and registration number.
