CITIZENS Advice for the Winchester District holds its annual general and public meeting next week.
The guest speaker is Tim Houghton, chief executive of Community First, which supports the voluntary sector in Winchester, East Hampshire and Havant.
The meeting will be on Monday October 3 from 6.30-8pm at the United Church, Jewry Street.
The trustee board, staff and a core team of nearly 100 volunteers welcome all members of the public to the meeting. Wine and soft drinks will be served afterwards.
Citizens Advice Winchester District (formerly the Citizens Advice Bureau) provides a free and confidential advice service to anyone in the local district who needs it.
It runs face-to-face sessions in Winchester, Alresford, Bishop’s Waltham, Denmead, Wickham, as well as a phone helpline and web chat to make it easier for people to access the service.
