Overnight closures at Winnall roundabout
THE Winnall Roundabout will be closed overnight for six nights.
Resurfacing work to the busy roundabout at Junction 9, where the M3 intersects with the A34 and A272, takes place from Monday, September 12.
The roundabout will shut from 10pm to 6am.
According to Highways England, the work includes improvements to skid resistance and targeting surface defects.
There will be diversions in place, but it is not yet known what these will be.
Last year it was announced that Highways England will spend hundreds of millions of pounds improving major roads in the county, which included the work to the Winnall Roundabout.
