DESIGNS for new flood defences north of Winchester city centre are going on display next week.
Residents can view plans and ask officers how the area around the River Itchen will be protected at Winchester School of Art on February 3 and 4.
The school was among the worst-affected buildings during floods in February 2014.
Walls, earth bunds and emergency barriers are being prepared for a scheme which Winchester City Council said could prevent £13 million in damage over the next century.
The exhibition is being held in the Westside Lecture Theatre, Park Lane, from 4pm to 7pm.
