THREE people arrested in connection with the disappearance of a Winchester schoolgirl have been released on bail.

Two men aged 24 and 50 and a woman aged 27, all of who are from Bournemouth, were arrested last week in connection with missing Jess Horton.

The 15-year-old was discovered in the early hours of Friday morning at a flat in Bournemouth.

An extensive search was launched for Jess, a year 11 pupil at The Westgate School, after she disappeared from Wesley Methodist Church in Fromond Road, Weeke on September 18.

She left without any money for food, drink or shelter and suffers from asthma and did not have any medication with her.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Three people arrested in connection with the investigation have been released on police bail until mid-November pending further investigation."

After Jess was found, Detective Chief Inspector Scott Clarke from the Northern Investigations Team, thanked officers from Dorset Police for their assistance.

He added: "Everyone has worked tirelessly to find Jess and I thank you for all for your support."
