A WINCHESTER woman has been detained in a mental health unit after admitting attacking a church and several white cars.

Danielle Dilworth, 38, of Wolfe Close, Stanmore, pleaded guilty to damaging windows at a city centre church.

The First Church of Christ Scientist in Tower Street estimated the damage at £2,500, Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard.

She also admitted attacking a white Isuzu D-Max truck belonging to Nicholas Horsburgh, a white Mercedes-Benz belonging to Emma Ferris and a white Ford Transit owned by Hydro-Logic Services.

Dilworth admitted criminal damage to a blue Kia Cee'd belonging to Lee Bushby.

She also pleaded guilty to assaulting Christopher Baker Loughridge and PC Templeton-Smith.

Magistrates ordered she be detained at the Kingsley Unit at Melbury Lodge in Winchester and pay £50 compensation to Ms Ferris, Mr Bushby and Mr Baker Loughridge.
