WINCHESTER firefighters cut a gold ring off the finger of a youth at a fire station early this morning.
The youngster was taken by a social worker to Winchester Fire Station with the ring stuck on his middle finger.
The fire service have a special cutter with a titanium blade that did the job in seconds at around 2.30am, said watch manager Chris Roper.
