A NEW residents group that wants to give people a voice will hold its first public meeting next month.

The North Winchester Community Forum wants to create a platform for residents, groups, individuals and businesses to ask questions and receive information on local issues.

The topics for the meeting on November 13 are Barton Farm, open spaces and low-cost housing.

It is part of Winchester Area Community Action and aims to hold four meetings per year.

There will be a ‘local log book’ for people to record their opinions.

It will be held at Weeke Primary School, Stoney Lane. Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
