FIREFIGHTERS are warning people of the dangers of bonfires after they were called to an incident in Winchester.
It was at the back of a property in Woodlea Close, in Weeke, at 6.15pm last night, and Winchester firefighters brought it under control.
Watchmanager Sean Gray said: “We advise people to make sure that bonfires are attended, keep them small, consider what you are burning, and make sure it is not too close to fences and trees.”
