ORGANISERS of this year’s annual Hursley 10k is calling for runners, volunteers, marshals and coordinators.

The 10k multi-terrain race will take place on Sunday (September 21) and is being organised by the Hursley Village Community Association with the support of John Keble School and the PTA.

Now organisers need a whole host of local people to come forward in a bid to ensure runners’ safety.

Help is needed with administration and promotions in the build up to the event and on the day people will be asked to assist with registrations, the finishing line area, toilets, litter control, the fun run, bouncy castle, BBQ and photography.

All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the school and other local causes.

Anyone interested should visit the site harkweb.wufoo.com/forms/the-hursley-10k-run-makers/ or speak to one of the event team Ian Wells, Richard Baker or Jo Quigley.
