HAMPSHIRE man Paul Humphries appeared in court this morning accused of the murder of John Willdig, 70, found with multiple stab wounds in a Southampton street.
Judge Guy Boney QC adjourned the case for a plea and case management hearing on September 5. A provisional trial date has been listed for December 1.
Humphries, 35, of Morris Road, Polygon, Southampton, was remanded in custody after the five-minute hearing at Winchester Crown Court.
Mr Willdig, 70, of Nelson Road, Freemantle, was found collapsed in Morris Road at around 10.15pm on Monday.
