OWSLEBURY will be hosting its annual church fete over the course of the weekend.

On Saturday (June 21) the traditional fete will be held on the Glebe field next to St Andrew’s Church from 2pm.

It will include a tea tent, a raffle, a cake stall, a coconut shy, a bottle stall, produce stalls and a special whisky raffle.

Running alongside will be a specialist exhibit called “Owslebury at War” which will be held at the village hall on Saturday (June 21) and Sunday (June 22). The exhibit will display a range of pictures and information from both the First and Second World War including a recently discovered war diary from a man who spent time on the front line.

There will be a reef-laying ceremony at the memorial garden at 4pm to remember fallen soldiers.
