A vandal has been ordered to do six months’ supervision after he admitted smashing a window by head-butting it and throwing a brick through a car window in Selby.
Carl O’Connor, 23, of Kitchen Drive, Selby, pleaded guilty to two charges of causing criminal damage at York Crown Court. He was not ordered to pay compensation because the court heard he has no income.
He lived in the same block of flats as his friend and co-defendant Danny Watson, 23, who admitted associated unlawful violence.
Watson was jailed for nine months for the unlawful violence, plus 12 months for other offences last week at York Crown Court.
