DANCERS from a Winchester company are set to represent England in a global competition.
The four boys from Integr8 Dance will compete in the International Dance Organisation (IDO) European and World Street Dance Championships, flying first to Rimini, Italy, in July for the European championships and Bochum, Germany, in September for the worldwide competition.
Jacob Hoffman, 10, Rory Clarke, 10, and Mason Foster, 14, will represent Team England in their solo categories, and alongside Henry Gibson, 15, will all compete in Electric Boogie (also known as ‘popping’) duos against the best in the world.
They were chosen after battling for their place at the All England Championships in Luton on Sunday (May 11).
The dancers are raising funds themselves, and are looking for sponsorship.
