THE Taunton Chiropractic Clinic has won an award for excellence in meeting patient expectations.
The clinic, at Crown Medical Centre, has won The Royal College of Chiropractors’ Patient Partnership Quality Mark, given to centres which are clean, safe and accessible, and where patient communication is strong.
The clinic also picked up the Clinical Management Quality Mark, which covers areas including auditing, incident reporting and patient satisfaction.
Tim Jay, principal chiropractor at Taunton, Chard and Wellington Chiropractic Neck and Back Pain Clinics, has also been honoured with the title President Emeritus of The Royal College of Chiropractors after retiring from the role of president.
He was founding president of the college which received its Royal Charter in 2012 and its new Royal name last February, after a campaign spanning 18 years.
