A HAMPSHIRE charity has received a massive boost with money that would otherwise have been spent on Christmas cards.
Naomi House received £1,000 from Gosport-based management company, Helistrat, when staff decided to donate to the cause with money saved by sending out electronic Christmas cards to clients.
Helistrat managing director, Joy Donnell, said: “Helistrat is delighted to be able to extend the Christmas spirit to Naomi House. The work it does all year round with young people is truly inspirational and we are just glad we can help to make Christmas a bit more special for the children.
“Naomi House is a cause close to the hearts of our people, some of whom have raised money for the hospice during the year. Happy Christmas Naomi House.”
A Naomi House spokesperson said: “We want to thank Helistrat for their generous donation. Christmas is a tough time for the families that we support and this donation will help ensure that our children and young adults experience the best Christmas possible.”
