FOUR people have been arrested in connection with drug dealing in Bishop’s Waltham.
A 62-year-old man and three women, aged 32, 58 and 66, were arrested at three premises on Shore Lane, Battery Hill and Malt Lane after police secured drug warrants last Wednesday (December 11).
The offenders, all from Bishop’s Waltham, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. They have been bailed pending further enquiries until February 12.
The warrants were obtained after information was received from members of the community. Once inside the properties, officers found substances believed to be amphetamine and cocaine.
Inspector Jon Turton said: "I hope that this action sends out a clear message that the supply of illegal drugs will not be tolerated in our towns and villages.
"Bishop’s Waltham is a very safe place to live and we want to keep it that way. We take all complaints very seriously and will continue to work closely with our communities.”
Anyone with information relating to drugs should contact Safer Neighbourhoods team by phoning 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
