THE Mayor of Winchester officially opened the new offices of a Hampshire accountants’ firm.
Cllr Ernie Jeffs unveiled the new Winchester headquarters of Wilkins Kennedy Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers on Andover Road at a champagne reception earlier this month.
Councillor Ernie Jeffs, Mayor of Winchester, said: “Winchester is a thriving city and I’m delighted that Wilkins Kennedy has decided to remain here. I am particularly pleased to have been asked to open these new premises and learn of your continuing commitment to the locality.
“I was interested to hear that the new office space was entirely refitted using local resources; I’m sure it will provide an excellent working environment for your staff. I wish Wilkins Kennedy an excellent future here in Winchester.”
David Fenn, managing partner of Wilkins Kennedy, said: “Winchester is a fantastic city in which to do business; excellent transport connections and a thriving local business community is an excellent combination offering many growth and trading opportunities for businesses of all sectors and sizes.”
Canapés and Japanese sushi was provided by local restaurateur, Miff Kayum, owner of Bengal Sage, Bangkok Brasserie and Kyoto Kitchen.
