A WINCHESTER author is set to launch another book on self-motivation at her local parish hall.
Cheryl Rickman, author of The Flourish Handbook will be signing copies and talking about her new book on Saturday (November 9) at the Hursley Parish Hall.
From 7.30pm, Ms Rickman will talk about her book's secrets to achieving happiness with staying power, boosting confidence and enjoying life more.
English sparkling wine and hampers will be available from the Droxford-based vineyard, Poppydown, and handmade gifts and crafts will be on sale, including cushions and cake stands.
Ms Rickman will give a brief inspirational talk as will guest speaker, Mandy Hickson, co-organiser of the workshop, 'Inspiring Women for Work'.
A raffle will be held, with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK and Action for Research into Multiple Sclerosis. Prizes include a wine hamper from Poppydown Wine & Hampers, a Sunday roast for a family of four at The Dolphin, and a cut and blow-dry at The Old Forge Hair Salon as well as relaxing spa treatments.
