A PAIR of Paralympians are launching a new Winchester sports club next week.

Winchester Goalball Club will be opened at Peter Symonds College by students Adam and David Knott, who represented Team GB at goalball at the London games.

A free taster session takes place at the college from 10am to 1pm and is open to all ages and people of all levels of visual impairment.

Then on Monday (Feb 18) the Hampshire FA visually impaired football team is also officially launched, headed by Rio 2016 Paralympic hopeful Richard Twose, a medallist at the World Transplant Games.

Both events are supported by Open Sight, Hampshire's largest charity for the visually impaired.
