AN inquest has opened after an Alresford woman died in a car crash last week.
Kathryn Hunt, 35, of Jacklyns Lane, Alresford, was killed after her silver Renault Clio collided with a green Ford Mondeo in Twinley Lane, Whitchurch, on January 28 at around 6.45am.
The inquest was opened by Coroner for North East Hampshire Andrew Bradley on January 31.
A spokesman for the coroner's office said she suffered multiple injuries in the accident but the cause of her death was still being investigated, pending toxicology and histology tests.
The driver of the Mondeo, Roland Holliehead, 65, of Wincanton, Somerset, was also killed in the crash.
A full inquest into both deaths will be resumed on May 1 at Alton Magistrates' Court.
