SCOOTER club members delivered presents to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital’s children’s ward in Winchester.
Some 10 members of the Due South Scooter Club headed to the Romsey Road hospital for their Christmas ride out.
They gave presents to around 30 children on Northbrook ward maintain a tradition that started about five years ago. Staff weren’t overlooked and they got biscuits and sweets.
They also presented a cheque for £121 to the Magic Wand Appeal the result of a 1960s soul night at the Half Moon and Spread Eagle pub in Micheldever.
Club member Adrian Hunt said: “We like to do something for the community and to show the children that although they are in hospital they are not being forgotten.”
The club is now based at The Welcome pub in Bishopstoke.
