TV presenter to give Winchester lecture on Stonehenge
WARG, the Winchester local history group, is staging a high-profile lecture in February by TV presenter Julian Richards.
Mr Richards, a professional archaeologist, will talk on Stonehenge: Whatever next? at Winchester Guildhall on Friday February 22 at 7.30pm.
Mr Richards is a well-known face on TV, presenting BBC’s Meet the Ancestors and has been involved with Stonehenge for more than 30 years, including writing several books on the monument.
Tickets £15, £10 in advance for WARG members, the unemployed and students.
