A PERSISTENT Winchester shoplifter has been jailed by magistrates for seven weeks.
Gary Shaw, 52, of Harwood Place, Kings Worthy, admitted stealing two bottles of vodka worth £36 from Waitrose in Weeke and four cans of lager and a pizza valued at £11.59 from Tesco.
Shaw was also in breach of a community order and broke a suspended sentence imposed for five earlier thefts from Winchester shops.
