Horse whisperer's help sessions

Kelly Marks, renowned "horse whisperer", will be holding equestrian help sessions at King's Somborne later this month.

Kelly (pictured) has proven her horsemanship skills by gentling wild horses in Namibia, winning racing and show jumping championships and analysing horses for the BBC.

She is also a consultant for the Brooke animal hospitals in India and Jordan. She has also written a number of books on horsemanship.

The original horse whisperer, Monty Roberts, says: "I could not recommend a better teacher of my methods anywhere in the world than Kelly Marks."

Now she is taking her expertise to the public in Masterclasses, one of which is at Hoplands, King's Somborne on May 23.

Kelly will be working with riders and their mounts and there will be guest appearances from her "problem pony turned champion" American Pie and his "adopted little cousin" Caesar.

Advance tickets will be £15 if booked by a member of the Intelligent Horsemanship Association. Otherwise tickets are £20 or £25 on the door (if available) Ring 01488 71300 for bookings or go online at www.inteligent horsemanship.co.uk
