Question Time event in Winchester cancelled amid uncertainty over election

A ‘Question Time’ style-town forum due to have been held in Winchester was cancelled due to uncertainty over the date of the General Election.

The city council event had been due on March 15 at the Theatre Royal.

Steve Tilbury, corporate director, said: “The reason we called off the Question Time event was just one of timing with the General Election coming up on a date we still don’t know. We didn’t want to organise it and then find we had to cancel it at short notice.”
