A SCHEME to revitalise a Winchester city centre feature is back on track.
The city council has been drawing up plans for a revamp of St Maurice's Covert off the High Street.
But Cllr Liz Hutchison told the Town Forum that since senior officer Eloise Appleby left the authority the project "seems to have lost momentum."
Steve Tilbury, corporate director, said the updated proposals were being redrawn to improve the area in the near future.
The unsightly waste bins have been moved to a new location at the nearby Colebrook Street car park.
