Anti-EU campaigners stage series of action days
THE Leave-eu Winchester Group is staging a series of events to win support for the UK leaving the European Union.
It has been carrying out 'Action Days' in Winchester at the weekends since October.
The days will continue with the following dates announced: February 25, Alresford; Feb 27, March 12, 26 and April 23, Winchester.
The referendum on the EU is widely expected to be in June.
The LWG has accepted an invitation from the European Movement Hampshire to one of their meetings to provide a speaker for a debate on Thursday March 31 at the Discovery Centre, Jewry Street.
A public meeting in Winchester in April is being organised, with a date and venue to be announced.
